He is survived by: his wife Vera Gilbert of Kenosha; his children, Carlene Polzin of Burlington, Barbara Pasco of Kenosha, Bruce Gilbert of Kenosha, Verna Griffin (John) of Kenosha, Amy Regina of Kenosha and Alice Conradt of Las Vegas, NV; and his brother Chuck Gilbert of Muscle Shoals, AL. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great- grandchild.
