She was predeceased by: her sisters, Rosario, Martha, Maria Del Carmen and Raúl; and her parents, Maria and José Refugio.

She is survived by: her husband Amando; her children, Claudia Amistad (Joseph), César and Luis; and her grandson Connor. She is also survived by her family growing up with four sisters and a brother.
