With solemn reverence, we commemorate Daniel Burns of Kenosha, Wisconsin, whose life came to an end on November 10, 2025 at the age of 70, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Burns and Rosemary Burns (Reimer); his brother Terrance Burns; his siblings-in-law, Mary Jo Burns, William Schneider and Mark Simon; and his grandparents, Earl, Elsie Burns, Walter, Malita Reimer, Clem, Olive Simon, LaVern and Margaret Halbach.
He is survived by: his wife Michelle Burns (Simon); his children, Erin, Megan (Jake Zenk) and Evan Burns; his siblings, Sharon Terrill (Douglas), Judith Gurgel (Robert), Mark Burns (Karen) and Wendy Petak (Richard); and his in-laws, Alan, Judith Simon, Beth Schneider, David Simon (Carrie), Amy Feyen (Mark) and Ellen Simon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Proko Funeral Home & Crematory (5111 60th St, Kenosha, WI 53144).
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Parkinson Foundation, Hospice Alliance, or KAFASI – Meals on Wheels would be deeply appreciated by the family.
