He was predeceased by: his parents, Arturo Rivera and Maria Teresa Rivera (Obregón); and his siblings, Domingo Alvarez Obregón, Carmen Rivera of Brautigam, Julia Rivera of Ibarra, Maria Rivera Obregón, Zenón Rivera Obregón, Arturo Rivera Obregón, Victor Rivera Obregón, Alba Rivera of Vallejos, Edgar Rivera Obregón and Sadie Rivera of Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Yelba Nibya Rivera of Kenosha, WI; his children, Nibya Smith (Michael), David Rivera (Julie), Itzna Brown (Jeremy) and Javier Rivera; his grandchildren, Amelia Smith, Amanda Rivera, Ryan Rivera, Dominic Brown (Katherine), Nicholas Brown and Nicolette Prado (Emilio); and his great grandchildren, Archie Brown, Otto Brown and Mateo Prado.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the National Kidney Foundation of WI, the American Cancer Society- Lymphoma Research, or the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
