It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald E. Nykiel (Kenosha, Wisconsin), who passed away on May 22, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nykiel and Helen Nykiel (Nawrocki); his parent-in-law Phylamae Zydowicz; his daughter Deborah Nykiel; his grandson Dominic Crivello; and his siblings, Raymond, Norman, Edwin, Leonard and Alvina Stolarczyk (George).
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Dober; his daughter Pamela Nykiel; and his stepchildren, Paula Horsley (Jeff), Bruce Dober (Nancy), Kristine Leslie (Kevin) and Carol Weil (Peter). He is also survived by five step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home Piasecki Funeral Home Service (3720 39th Ave, Kenosha, WI 53144). The military honors will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
