He was predeceased by: his parents, Drew Carter and Dorothy Carter Sr. (Carter); and his brother Howard. He is survived by: his former wives, Dorothy Phipps and Dorothy Carter of Kenosha; his children, Sharai Carter, Drew Carter III, Novodny Darnell Phipps, Quinton Levell Phipps, Gabbreil Joy Phipps, Mary Omega Phipps and Bryan Thompson; and his brothers, Earl Carter and Ronald Hardiman. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
