He was predeceased by : his parents, Calvin Gill and Nell Gill (Thompson); and his brothers, Jim and Ronnie Gill. He is survived by : his wife Patricia J. Gill (Long); his children, Doreen Bresnahan (Bob), Shelley Kopczynski (Steven) and Sam Gill (Megan); his grandchildren, Jay Bresnahan (Beth), Rick Steinke (Lauren), Jaime Siiro (Ryan) and Stephanie Mayfield (Shaun); his great grandchildren, McKenna and Declan Bresnahan; his grandchildren, Ellie, Owen, Ty, Lainey Steinke and Harrison Siiro; his sister Judith Keaton (Dean); and his sister-in-law Marylou Gill. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Piasecki Funeral Home (3720 39th Ave, Kenosha, WI 53144). The military honors was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
