With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward R Johnson of Kenosha, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 21, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Edward leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Johnson and Verna Johnson (Sorvare) of Bruce Crossing, Michigan.; his brothers, Howard Johnson and Norman Johnson; and his grandsons, Jeremy Johnson and Alexander Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Zapp; and his children, Sheri Green (Ed Jensen), Alan Johnson (Sue), Darin Johnson and Sue Palmen (Dan Pfeuffer).
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church (714 – 49th St 33710). A Mass was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
