With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ellen Mae Shuemate of Kenosha, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 19, 2025 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Davies and Leonore Davies (Flatter); her husband Albert C. Shuemate; her siblings, Ruth Steffers and Daniel Davies; her son-in-law Glenn Madrigrano, Sr.; and her grandson Steven Konitzer.
She is survived by: her son James Shuemate (Karla); her grandchildren, Timothy Shuemate (Melissa), Carolyn Bell (Ryan), Diana Shuemate and Thomas Shuemate; her daughter Barbara Madrigrano; her grandchildren, Glenn Madrigrano Jr. and Mia Hughes (Christopher); her daughter Tammy Konitzer (Gerald); her grandchildren, Abigail Nickel (Aaron), Courtney Bychowski (Elias) and Hayley Konitzer; her sister Margaret Hackbarth; her niece Jane (Jim Kreuser); and her close friend Ralph Greco. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
