He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Simas and Alice Simas (Ventura); his sons, Ernest Simas Jr. and Ralph; and his siblings, Irene, George, Clarence and Anthony.
He is survived by: his children, Eraina Adams, Nathan Simas and Anthony Simas; his brothers, Joseph Simas and Louis Hookano; and his niece Debbie Slusher. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild, many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
