We announce the death of Florence M. (Yaeger) Klappa of Kenosha, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 106. Florence will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Florence will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Florence will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Florence’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Yaeger and Agnes (Jagodzinski); and her husband Roger Klappa. She is survived by: her children, Elaine Koenig, Margaret Ann LeClaire, William Klappa, Mary Smith (Steve), Linda Walker and Thomas Klappa (Mary Jo). She is also survived by 50 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church (2020 91st St, Kenosha, WI 53143). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
