With sadness, we share the passing of Gary A. Broaddus of Kenosha, Wisconsin. Gary, born on October 30, 1959, passed away on September 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Richard Broaddus; his brother Alan; his parents-in-law, Kenneth A. and Ileen Hansen; and his brothers-in-law, Kenny Hansen and Greg Merkes.
He is survived by: his mother Patricia Broaddus; his wife Carol Hansen; his sons, Michael and Samuel; his grandson Dayton; his siblings, Kevin (Lynn) and Sheryl (Jim); his half-sisters, Becky and Shirley; his aunt Jane (Jim); and his sister-in-law Diane Merkes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bruch-Hansen Funeral Home (6019 7th Ave, Kenosha, WI 53143). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery (21731 Spring St, Union Grove, WI 53182).
