He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Pitts and Ruth Pitts (Dixon); his brother Lowell; his sister-in-law Joyce Pitts; and his pets, Butchie and Peppy.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his son Mark; his sister-in-law Gean Walrath; and his cousin Carol Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (7104 39th Ave, Kenosha, WI 53142). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to either Trinity Lutheran Church or Safe Harbor Humane Society.
