He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Turner and Doris Turner (Pieper); his in-laws, Robert and Vera Turner; his brother Kenneth Turner; his brother-in-law Raymond Turner; and his granddaughter Jaylyn Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Turner; his children, Brandon Turner (Jaclyn) and Kristen Hassan (Tommy); his grandchildren, Taylor, Lacey Turner, Noah and Logan Hassan; his sisters, Carolyn Gliniecki and Evelyn Turner; and his brother-in-law Gary Lee Turner (Adeline). He is also survived by four nieces; four nephews; three great nephews; one great niece; one uncle; three aunts; and a host of cousins and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the North Prairie United Methodist Church (5000 9th St, Zion, IL 60096). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to North Prairie United Methodist Church or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
