He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Merfeld and Frances Merfeld (Frazier); and his brother Darrell Merfeld. He is survived by: his wife Doreen Merfeld; his children, Tamara Patton (Merfeld) and Jacob Merfeld (Emily); his grandchildren, Mishayla Merfeld, Joseph Merfeld (Joey), Andersen Patton and JohnHenry Patton; and his siblings, Nancy Merfeld (Darrell), Cheryl Samples (Doug), Merrill Merfeld (Mary), Carol Hoeft (Merfeld) and Jeneyl Anglin (Steve). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
