She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward McCabe and Esther McCabe (Brown); her husband Lyman Halverson; her children, Dennis Halverson and Nancy Portilia; and her grandson Erik Halverson.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Halverson (Pat), Mark Halverson (Kathie), Karen Vincent (William) and Mary Birkholz (Don); her son-in-law Brian Portilia; her siblings, Mary Hanson and John McCabe; and her grandchildren, Kellee Chwala, Tim Halverson, Lisa Ziarko, Brian Portilia, Brock Portilia, Rianna Doll, William Vincent V, Brett Vincent, Jeremy Birkholz and Jillian Fuhrer. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to The Legacy at St. Joseph's or Hospice Alliance, in her memory.
