He was predeceased by: his father James Thurber; his brothers, Jim and Bob Thurber (Marie); and his siblings-in-law, Nolan Wallenfang, Richard Senatore, Dayton Cheney, Gayle, Elaine and Barbara Cheney.
He is survived by: his wife Gerrie; his siblings, Nancy Senatore and Jack Thurber (Sylvia); and his siblings-in-law, Carletta Wallenfang, Bernard and Tom Cheney. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
