He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Knautz and Anna Knautz (Schneider); his wife Betty (Halvorsen); and his brother Harold. He is survived by: his children, Ronald Knautz (Karen) and Nancy DeLong (Bradley); his grandchildren, Nathan Knautz (Sarah), Jamie Craig (David), Amanda Runyen (Patrick) and Allyson Capriotti (Paul); and his great grandchildren, Evan Knautz, Dylan, Nora Craig, Alayna, Molly Runyen, Lilian and Joseph Capriotti.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Salvation Army in Herbert's memory.
