He was predeceased by: his parents, Erling Johnson and Agnes Johnson (McClusky); and his siblings, Erling Jr. and Kathleen Welton. He is survived by: his sister Mary Hager; his nieces, Jean Stave and Janet Hager-Nolan; his nephew Steven Hager; and his great-nephew Alexander Nolan.
