Schmidt, Jr. (Gwen Thoreson); his girlfriend Dawn Jurca; his girlfriend's children, Allison Braver (Mitch) and Nelson Schneider; and his grandchildren, Kelly Schmidt and Sophia Wiseman. He is also survived by five brothers; one sister, eight nieces and nephews; and five great nephews.
