James Anthony Tirabassi Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Anthony Tirabassi (Kenosha, Wisconsin), who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Domenick Tirabassi and Amelia Tirabassi (Russo); his sisters, Adeline Grudzinski (Ray) and Divina Herzog (Elmer); his in-laws, Ernie Skau Sr., Judge W. W. Davis (Louise) and Jim Davis; and his siblings' children, Ernie Skau Jr., Rick Skau, Bob Herzog, Jim Herzog, Caroline Skau Neubecker, Therese Skau and Diane Herzog.
He is survived by: his sibling Excavating; his wife Mary Tirabassi (Davis); his children, Jim Tirabassi (Kathy), Sue Tirabassi (Travis Nietupski) and Todd Tirabassi; his grandchildren, Michelle Sheely (Jim), Amber Koerner (Will), Andrea Quella (Shane), Mario Tirabassi (Katherine) and Anthony Tirabassi; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Brandon Sheely, Cecilia Tirabassi, Lucca and Gio Quella; and his brother Domenick Tirabassi Jr. (Gina). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Proko Funeral Home & Crematory (5111 60th St, Kenosha, WI 53144). A prayer will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Proko Funeral Home (5111 60th St, Kenosha, WI 53144). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (7307 40th Ave, Kenosha, WI 53142). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the All Saints Cemetery (3300 Springbrook Rd, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorials in Jim's memory be directed to either Hospice Alliance 10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158 or St. Mary Catholic Church 7307 40th Avenue, Kenosha WI 53142.
