She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Gilpin and Ernestine Gilpin; her husband Wallace Shymanski; and her brother Keith Owen. She is survived by: her children, Scott Shymanski (Maureen) and Sheri Dreyer; her grandchildren, Emily Shymanski, Amy Hodgson, Ben Shymanski and Tony Ruzziconi; her nephews, Greg, Jay, Kip Owen and Kevin Foreman; and her niece Terri Castle. She is also survived by her 6 great grandchildren.
