It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Bauer (Kenosha, Wisconsin), born in Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on June 24, 2022, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Sharon Bauer (Gilpatrick); and his niece Kaitlyn Bauer. He is survived by: his father Gary Bauer (Marilyn); his pet Ben; his son Reece Bauer (Natalia); his stepson Andrew Bauer (Danielle); his stepgrandchildren, Odin and Camille Bauer; his brothers, Michael Bauer, Cary Bauer (Tani) and Jeffery Bauer (Robin); his aunt Lori Meier; his nieces and nephews, Anne Cook (Josh), Christopher Bauer, Jackson Bauer, Jessica Galvin and Emily Bauer; and his close friends, Tom Root, Allan Freeland, Fred Lane, Phil Kappes, Bingse Young and Teri Becker. He is also survived by 14 cousins and countless other close family members and friends.
