With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John J. Sorensen (Kenosha, Wisconsin), born in Racine, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 23, 2023 at the age of 55. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John J. Sorensen to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his parents, Kathleen Sorensen (Shimkus) and James Sorensen; his wife Karen Lewicke; his children, Dr. Erin Merritt (William), Kyle Lindquist and Hannah Sorensen (Steven Mack); his grandchildren, Elijah and Sierra Merritt; his sister Edith Sorensen; his sister-in-law Nancy Sattler (Tony); and his nieces, Annabella and Alyssa Floro.

In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances for the "John Sorensen Memorial Fund" can be mailed or brought into any Educators Credit Union branch. The donations will help promote music education in the community and are appreciated by the family.
