John O. Compton Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on September 18, 2023, at the age of 92, John O. Compton of Kenosha, Wisconsin, born in Rockford, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert "Bud" Compton and Coline Compton; his wife Marilyn Compton (Methodist Church); and his son Dana Compton. He is survived by: his children, Sally Hudlik (Chris), Kathleen Stampfl (John) of Kenosha, WI, Kristine Oosterhouse (Gordon) of Randolph, WI, Jennifer Seppi (Bruce) of Anchorage, AK and David Compton (Gloria) of Oregon, WI. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity that was dear to John's heart, St. Joseph's Indian School in Chamberlain, South Dakota.
