He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor and Olga (Nitsch); his wife Isabel A. Kerley of Mark's Catholic Church; his son Daniel; his son-in-law James Darula; and his siblings, Victor, Max, John, Ann Fetzer, Martha Ludwig, Emma Stone and Olga Zak.
He is survived by: his children, JoAnne Darula, Steven Ludwig (Mary Kay), Thomas Ludwig (Patti) and Jeffrey Ludwig; his grandchildren, Adrien Ludwig (Toni), Valerie Plowman (Josh), Sam Darula, Josh Bower, Katie Hasselbrink (Jon), Stephanie Ludwig, Megan Ludwig, Tom Ludwig Jr. (Mercedes), Amy Dehne and Malyssa Ludwig; his great grandchildren, Max, Gracie, Payton, Gavin, Isabel, Avery, Owen, Alaina, Lily, Blair, Delilah and Bohdi; and his daughter-in-law Barb Ludwig.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Hospice Alliance.
