He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jass; his children, Steve Schauer (Cheryl) and Susanne Nighbert (Matthew); his grandchildren, Cade Schauer, Brooke Schauer and Cassandra Nighbert; his children, Kimberly Holmdahl, Cynthia Balistreri and Joseph Schauer; and his sisters, Marilyn Hayes (Larry) and Harriette Greene (Larry). He is also survived by 6 children and 4 grandchildren.
