He is survived by: his former spouse Gayle Barnett; his children, Larry Steagall II (Chantel) of Pleasant Prairie, Dawn Christensen (David) of Kenosha and Trisha Shepherd (Dan) of Kenosha; his grandchildren, Amanda Kingfisher (Steven), Ashleigh Parker (Louis), Justen Shepherd, Ian Christensen, Jordan Christensen (Emily Loewen), Emma Lord (Howie), Riley Christensen (Hope), Damion Shepherd (Emily Pena) and Larry Steagall III; his great grandchildren, Haileigh, Will, Laylah and Elliot; his former wife Gayle Shepherd; his siblings, David Steagall (Becky), Jacqueline Parrett and Cindy Haukedahl (Steve); and his pet Jake.
