It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Elvetici (Kenosha, Wisconsin), born in Ishpeming, Michigan, who passed away on June 1, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence "Poncho" Elvetici and Irene Elvetici (Mager); his daughter Renee LaFond; his brothers, Dick, George and Ron; and his brother-in-law David Verville.

He is survived by: his wife Maryanne LaFond (Madsen); his son Ron LaFond (Rose); his grandchildren, Morghan and Cade LaFond; his stepgrandchildren, Jay, Andrew, Hannah (Josh) and Colin; his former spouse Lyn; his sisters-in-law, Nancy Elvetici of Virginia and Candace Plankey of Michigan; and his brother John of Michigan.
