She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Spiering and Carmajean Spiering (Goodchild); her former husband Louis Cerkas; and her great-nephews, Keith Zeamer, Amazon Pionus Parrot and Kittyhawk.

She is survived by: her husband Jack Clausen; her children, Brian Cerkas (Ania) and DeAnna Peterson (Sean); her stepson Adam Clausen (Roseanne "Ro"); her siblings, Scott Spiering and Sharon Sielaff; her grandchildren, Connor Cerkas and Christian Cerkas; and her stepgrandchildren, Christian Peterson, Connor Peterson, Cecelia Peterson, Sean Jr. Peterson and CJ Clausen. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many extended family members and friends.
