He was predeceased by: his mother Janice Irene Cottrill; his grandparents, Faith Kelso and Henry Kelso; his nephew Nickie Schoenherr; his aunt Joyce Lane; his uncle Donnie Booton; and his friend Sissy Hansen.
He is survived by: his sons, James "Jimmy" Michael Cottrill and Jason "Jay" Corey Cottrill; his siblings, Chuck Cottrill (Jan), Debbie Bromstead, Machelle "Shell" Schoenherr, Brenda Felber and Linda Kordecki (Jeff); his grandchildren, Emmah Schmidt, Van Cottrill, Koen Cottrill, Harlow Cottrill, Kenzie Johnson and Cobi Johnson Marsh; and his friends, Jimmy Siepler, Rick Smith and Kenneth Robinson (Phylis). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
The family will be accepting flowers or donations can be made in his honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
