He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Lewis and Pearl Lewis (Hukill); and his siblings, Renee Menalasino (Lewis), Raymond Lewis Jr. (Sonny), Donald Lewis and Robert Lewis (Bib).
He is survived by: his wife Gretta Lewis (Walker); his children, Katherine Hambley (Lewis) and Matthew Lewis; and his grandson Conner Lewis Hambley (Robert Hambley) of Katherine.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ringa Funeral Home (122 S Milwaukee Ave, Lake Villa, IL 60046). The military honors will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fort Sheridan National Cemetery.
