He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence VanDuyn and Catherine VanDuyn (Colter); and his siblings, Steve Haddix, Terry Haddix and Mark VanDuyn.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Terpstra; his sons, Brian VanDuyn and Kurt Lindstrom (Ryann); his brothers, David Haddix, Leonard VanDuyn (Liz) and Paul VanDuyn (Laura); his grandson Cash Lindstrom; his siblings' children, Lelena Ziegelbauer, Kaitlin VanDuyn, Mark VanDuyn, Jeffrey VanDuyn, Amanda Turner and Milos Kuzmic; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jared, Grace, Macie, Jax and Leo.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in his memory.
