He was predeceased by: his parents, Noel Tinnen and Marie Tinnen (Priske); his grandson Gunnar Ives; his nephews, Kevin Dunk and Noel Tinnen; and his niece Eileen Gales.

He is survived by: his wife Judy of Edward's Catholic Church; his children, Gail Tinnen-Ives of Kenosha, Rob Tinnen of Park Falls, WI and Mark Tinnen of Kenosha; his grandchildren, Kyle Ives of Kenosha, Katelyn Holm (Matt) of Glidden, WI and Morgan Tinnen of Phillips, WI; his great grandchildren, Kimmy Ives and Ivan Holm; and his brother Tom Tinnen (Elsa) of Gold Canyon, AZ. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to Hospice Alliance, St. Mary's Catholic Church or to the Kenosha Area Vietnam Veterans.
