It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert P. Roche (Kenosha, Wisconsin), born in Chicago Ridge, Illinois, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Roche and Bernice Roche (Thornton); his grandson Giovanni Rodriguez; and his sister Caroline Roche. He is survived by: his wife Mary Buford; his children, Heather McCloud, Sean Roche, Kathryn Roche and Robyn Simms; his grandchildren, Michael Guzman, Priscilla Rodriguez, Dori McCloud, Carlittos Rodriguez, Salvvatore Rodriguez, Reymundo Guzman, Jr., Elias Simms and Azriel Roche; his sisters, Lisa Roche, Diane Williams, Laura Roche and Amy Burton; and his nieces and nephews, Jeremy Burton, William Burton, Kelly Shue, Scotty Roche, Morgan Roche and Joey Roche.

“I am very sorry to hear about Bob's passing; thoughts and prayers are with all of you. My IT career started in 1990, working first on mainframe, and eventually web/client applications. I haven't worked on a mid-range computer since community college with the IBM System 36. When I came to Filer City Mill (MI) in 2017, I got involved with the AS 400. Bob helped me learn more about the AS 400 as well as helping me with issues; always appreciated his help. Bob will be missed.”

“I was so saddened to hear of Bob's passing. I knew Bob for almost 25 years. He was always the first phone call when there was an issue with the AS400 or a tweak to make things even better. If it could be done on the AS400, BOB KNEW HOW TO DO IT! He was curious, creative, helpful and kind, and always made himself available. PCA will miss Bob's knowledge and ability, and those of us who were fortunate to know him will miss the person Bob was, his smile and dry sense of humor. Marilyn P.”
