He was predeceased by: his parents, Just "Boyd" Christensen and Mollie Christensen (Heg); and his siblings, Tina Nighsonger (Cliff), Georgianne Sampson (Jack), Robert Christensen (Carole) and George Heg (Joyce).
He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Kruse; his daughters, Becky Zuehlsdorf (Mark) and Dawn Christensen (Alan Darrell); his grandchildren, Brittany (Danny), Jake (Sandy), Tanner and Luke (Abbey); and his brother James Christensen (Dar).
When COVID hit, he and Pat drove around, got food, and then sat by Lake Michigan and watched the waves.
In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Hospice Alliance in his memory.
