He was predeceased by: his daughter Maria Allie Alterson. He is survived by: his parents, Gregory Alterson and Elizabeth Alterson (Albarran); and his siblings, Esteban "Steve" L. Alterson (Jennifer), Robert "Bobby" Kline, Jason Alterson (Heather McCawley), Jeremiah Alterson (Christina), Tabitha Krause (Aaron) and Ann Alterson (Daniel Stamborski).

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Proko Funeral Home & Crematory (5111 60th St, Kenosha, WI 53144).
