With sadness, we share the passing of Stephanie J. Mortensen of Kenosha, Wisconsin. Stephanie passed away on October 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her in-laws, Ronald and Marlene Mortensen; her brother Jonathon Alderson; her grandchild Tripp Svoboda; her nephew Jason Mortensen; and her great-niece Lily Mortensen.
She is survived by: her parents, Billy Alderson and Beverly Alderson of Elgin, NE; her husband Lance Mortensen of Kenosha, WI; her brother Billy Jr. of Oakdale, NE.; and her children, Justin Mortensen (Simone) of Racine, WI, Jarred Mortensen (Stefanie) of Oakdale, NE, Caitlin Svoboda (Daniel) of Hastings, NE. and Stephanie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elgin Community Christian Church (110 N 4th St, Elgin, NE 68636). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated for a Nursing Student Scholarship in Stephi's name .
