It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sue Peterson (Kenosha, Wisconsin), who passed away at the age of 85, on October 17, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Ensfield and Donna Ensfield (Oldham); and her siblings, Barbara Sherwin, Eleanor Gail and Robert Ensfield.
She is survived by: her former husband Robert Peterson; her friend George Lindstrom; her sons, Dave Bornhuetter (Deb) and Jack Bornhuetter (Laura); her grandsons, Christopher (Maddy), Michael and Jacob; her great grandchildren, Luke, Noah and Grace; her nephews, Martin Sokol (Jan), David Sokol, Mike Ensfield (Nancy), Jeffrey Sherwin and Andrew Sherwin; Doug Bornhuetter.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Proko Funeral Home & Crematory (5111 60th St, Kenosha, WI 53144). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sunset Ridge Memorial Park Chapel (4300 Green Bay Rd, Kenosha, WI 53144). A burial will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Sunset Ridge Memorial Park (4300 Green Bay Rd, Kenosha, WI 53144).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Madison Music Collective, NPR, or a memory care charity of your choice in Sue's honor.
