She was predeceased by: her parents, Myron Lom and Ione Lom; and her husband Richard E. "Dick" Purath. She is survived by: her children, Mark Purath (Traci) of Mt. Pleasant, Mary Anderson (Stan) of Mt. Pleasant, Anne Ryan (Greg) of Franklin and Amy Stroh (Matt) of Waukesha; her siblings, Sherry Plath (Bob) of Franklin and Mike Lom (Monty Worden) of Texas; her cousin Maizie Gleason of Franklin; her niece Jean Fugate; her nephews, Michael DeNomie and Beau Plath; and her close friends, Rosalie Firminhac, Karen Nielsen, Leslie Gibson, Marcia Pfeiffer, Jaspher Carranza and Marinette.
