She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Schoettler and Marie Schoettler (Widmar); her former husband Vincent Schultz; her siblings, Lois Wilson, Carol Hall, Kathy Starr and Frank Schoettler; and her son-in-law Andy Davis.
She is survived by: her husband Deacon Wilson Shierk; her children, Rita Davis (late Andy), Jean Hendricksen (Richard), Susan Thomas, Cristine Kaseberg, Thomas Schultz and John Schultz; her stepchildren, Rosmary Martin (Jeff) and Wilson "Andy" Shierk (Babette); her daughter Sophie Dorceus; her siblings, Margaret Kraft (late Bill) and David Schoettler (Sandy); and her close friend Maria Mercado. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the following organizations would be appreciated by the family: The St. Mary Parish St. Vincent de Paul Outreach Program, The Shalom Center, Bread for the World, Save the Children, Other non-profit justice focused organizations.
