He was predeceased by: his parents, James Matrise and Margaret Matrise (Grasser); his siblings, Antoinette Christiansen, John Matrise and James Matrise; and his son-in-law Dan Jacob.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Connie Jacob, Lisa Sinda (Mike) and Scott Matrise; his grandchildren, Kevin Jacob (Kendra), Brad Jacob, Mason Sinda, Riley Sinda, Tom, Luciano Matrise, Aiden LaPointe, Abigail LaPointe and Finnigan Perea; his stepchildren, Amii LaPointe (Andrew) and Eric Perea (Blake); his siblings, Elizabeth Pasch, Michael Matrise (Lynne) and Rosemary Burns; his kitties Rinky; and his pet Brindle.
