She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo D. Leiting and Shirley Leiting (Huck); and her brother Michael. She is survived by: her siblings, James Leiting (Janet), Donald Leiting (Laura), Robert Leiting (Cynthia), Cheryl Ruegger (Russ) and Diane Sterba; her friend Vickie Ellis; and her pet Lucy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews, as well as cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Jude's Children Hospital would be appreciated.
