It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wesley E. Mecum of Kenosha, Wisconsin, born in Princeton, Illinois, who passed away on January 6, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eugene Mecum and Gladys Mecum (Behrens); his daughters, Michelle Mecum (Stephen Schatzman) and Samantha Knapton (Tim); and his siblings, John (Mary Lou), Margaret Mecum Pekin, Patrica Schnurbusch Pocahontas (Dean) and Gloria Mecum Buda. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, grandchildren and numerous friends.

Burial will be private. Due to COVID, facemasks are required in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to any veterans program is appreciated.
