It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert D. Kakwitch Sr. of Keshena, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Kakwitch and Edith Kakwitch (Oshkenaniew); his son Robert Kakwitch, Jr.; and his siblings, LaVerne Kakwitch, Norman Kakwitch, Evanell Sanapaw (Joey), Eric Kakwitch, Tonia Dick, Sandra Webster (Adam) and Ricki Hawpetoss (Neil).
He is survived by: his daughter Shawna Warrington; his siblings, Elmer Kakwitch and Tracy Kakwitch; and his brother-in-law Gerald "Deeser" Dick. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A reception was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Neopit Community Center (6797 BIA Rte 431, Neopit, WI 54150).
