He is survived by: his wife Jan; his sister Cheri Charland; his children, Michelle Patrykus (Dan), Kathleen Charland and David Charland (Elizabeth); his stepsons, David Ruhland (Susan) and Daniel Ruhland; and his grandchildren, Kailee, Hannah Mayer (Mason), Gabrielle Strutz (Harrison), Sophie Bush, Margaret, Eleanor, Abigail Charland, Alexis, Zander and Will Ruhland.
