He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kutz and Lorena Kutz; his wife Paula Kohler; his stepfathers, Henry Dettmann and Herbert Ramel; his brother Wilbert Kutz (Mary Ann); his half-brother Sylvester Dettmann (Bernadette); his sisters, Adeline Bath (Harold), Irene Lauters (Sylvester) and Lillian Kutz; and his sisters-in-law, LaVern Bratz (Quincy) and Shirley Dreher (Allen).
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Koenig (Butch) of Phelps, Karolyn Schmidt (Bradley) of West Bend and Nancy Zimdars (Scott) of West Bend; his grandchildren, Julie Schaefer of Tukwila, Jason, Jacci Koenig of West Bend, Jenny Arevalo (Danny) of Whittier, Haley Trede (Joel) of Kewaskum, Alexander and Benjamin Schmidt (Ashley Minesal) of West Bend; his stepgrandson Jesse Koenig (Karina) of L'Anse, Michigan; his great grandchildren, Alexanderia Schaefer of Redmond Washington, Jude, Caleb, Ezra Arevalo of Whittier, Jace and Scarlett Staples of Kewaskum; his stepgreat-granddaughter Akira Koenig of L'Anse, Michigan; his sister Amanda Lohse of Sheboygan; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Dettmann of West Bend and Paul Kohler (Ruth) of West Bend. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
