He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthias Nothem and Clara Nothem (Bode); his former wife Dorothy Nothem; his daughters, Pamela Rae Matenaer and Wanda Gindt; and his grandson Steven Nothem II.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene (Karoses); his children, Steven Nothem (Peggy Orth), Guy Nothem (Robin Johnson), Dawn Mayer (Daniel), Sherry McInnis (Brian), Gus Karoses (Leann), Laura Nigh (Steve) and Mary Hernikl (Craig); and his sons-in-law, Michael Matenaer and Joseph Gindt (Sandy). He is also survived by 50 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (331 Main St, Kewaskum, WI 53040). A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a charity of your choice or to Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum, Wisconsin.
