He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Berres and Gertrude Berres; his wife Michele M. Moore; and his sister Patricia. He is survived by: his siblings, Rosemarie Berres (Thomas Sherbrook) of Milwaukee, Michael of Kewaskum, James (Linda) of Kewaskum, Linda Salentine (Robert) of Pine, CO, Frederick (Barbara) of West Bend and Gerald (Patricia) of West Bend. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (8883 Forest View Rd, Kewaskum, WI 53040). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. John of God Catholic Chapel, St. Michael's Catholic Church or to the Capuchins for Mass intentions (Seraphic Mass Associates, 5217 Butler St, Ste 100, Pittsburgh, PA 15201-2657).
