Leander A. Oppermann Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leander A. Oppermann of Kewaskum, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 19, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leander A. Oppermann to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Oppermann and Verna Oppermann (Butzke); his wife Janis Kohn; and his brothers-in-law, Kenneth Harter and Clayton Kohn, Jr..
He is survived by: his sons, Corey Oppermann (Jennifer) of Campbellsport, Shane Oppermann (Melissa) of West Bend and Sheldon Oppermann (Jess) of Milwaukee; his granddaughters, Lauren Lass (CJ) of Galesville and Sara Oppermann (Jamison Mulvey, Jr.) of West Bend; and his siblings, Sandra Harter of River Falls, Claudia Skrentny of Kewaskum, Judith Oppermann of Kewaskum, Ronald (Barbara) of Campbellsport and Henry (Ann Carmichael) of Puerto Vallarta. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the St John Lutheran Church (n683 County Rd S, Kewaskum, WI 53040). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the St John Lutheran New Fane stained glass window restoration fund are appreciated.
